First, a big thanks to Anita Ellis for helping to get me in close enough proximity to ask for the interview, and a big thanks to Hudson Leick for being gracious as ever and answering my questions with her usual candor and honesty. Due to a time crunch, the questions were short and the answers even briefer. I have to give a big thanks to Mist for putting up with me after my trip from h*ll on Friday getting into NYC.
Callisto Debrief (05-12)
Life Debrief (13-25)
Yoga is obviously a huge part of your life, what styles of yoga are you teaching and practicing?
I just finished my certification for teaching pre- and post-natal classes. I do kundalini yoga and hatha yoga.
 You teach or practice?
How do you feel about Callisto's final outcome? Do you think it was totally full circle for the character?
 I wasn't around for Callisto's final outcome...
Oh, not Eve. I meant for the end of the character.
Oh that. That was a little weird, I guess. [Leick later said, when the same version of the question was asked during the Con] Angel-Smangel! I loved playing the demon, but I look back on it now and think I would have played the angel differently.
Was there ever a possibility that you would portray Eve/Livia?
 No, not ever.
If acting were a way of reflecting where you are right now, would you portray an evil character again?
 H*ll, yes!
What was the happiest moment in the last year?
(thinks) Happiest moment? There have been so many...I think they just keep happening, there isn't just one. I am the happiest now...
If you interviewed yourself, what would you ask yourself?
What is the hardest thing for me...What is the hardest thing about being me? And how would I reply?
Being a woman. I think being a woman is the hardest thing for me. It is so complex and...I don't think any man can teach me about being a woman, I think I learn that from other women.
Who would win a fight between Callisto, Xena, Buffy, 7 of 9, and Wonder Woman?
What? What are you talking about?
Never mind. What is your favorite Sweet Honey in the Rock song?
Oh...I love them all. They are all...(thinks) Glory, Glory Hallelujah has got to be one of my favorites.
What is the weirdest, most bizarre memory that sticks out in your mind about Xenaland?
 When someone kissed my breast.
[Author's note: This occurred in Palo Alto when a fan, while holding Hudson in his arms, leaned down and, well, kissed the skin exposed.]
Anything to say to the fans after 6 years?
 Don't kiss my breasts.

Once there came into the world a fledgling li'l geekling, who wandered the world over and meandered here and there and there and here. Until lo, one day, she-now a full fledged GeekGrrl-found the fledgling Xenaverse and discovered, to her endless delight, a site call International Association for Xena Studies and their publication WHOOSH. "Magnificently Kewl," she thought and promptly volunteered (or was swayed by the editor; I can't remember how the story goes) to become a staffer. Still not sure what it is I do, I continue to meander, and that seems to be enough.
