Yoga

DYANN ESPARZA:
^[01] Yoga is obviously a huge part of your life, what styles of yoga are you teaching and practicing?

HUDSON LEICK:
^[02] I just finished my certification for teaching pre- and post-natal classes. I do kundalini yoga and hatha yoga.

ESPARZA:
^[03] You teach or practice?

LEICK:
^[04] Both.

ESPARZA:
^[05] How do you feel about Callisto's final outcome? Do you think it was totally full circle for the character?

LEICK:
^[06] I wasn't around for Callisto's final outcome...

ESPARZA:
^[07] Oh, not Eve. I meant for the end of the character.

LEICK:
^[08] Oh that. That was a little weird, I guess. [Leick later said, when the same version of the question was asked during the Con] Angel-Smangel! I loved playing the demon, but I look back on it now and think I would have played the angel differently.

ESPARZA:
^[09] Was there ever a possibility that you would portray Eve/Livia?

LEICK:
^[10] No, not ever.

ESPARZA:
^[11] If acting were a way of reflecting where you are right now, would you portray an evil character again?

LEICK:
^[12] H*ll, yes!

^[13] What was the happiest moment in the last year?

LEICK:
^[14] (thinks) Happiest moment? There have been so many...I think they just keep happening, there isn't just one. I am the happiest now...

ESPARZA:
^[15] If you interviewed yourself, what would you ask yourself?

LEICK:
^[16] What is the hardest thing for me...What is the hardest thing about being me? And how would I reply?
^[17] Being a woman. I think being a woman is the hardest thing for me. It is so complex and...I don't think any man can teach me about being a woman, I think I learn that from other women.

ESPARZA:
^[18] Who would win a fight between Callisto, Xena, Buffy, 7 of 9, and Wonder Woman?

LEICK:
^[19] What? What are you talking about?

ESPARZA:
^[20] Never mind. What is your favorite Sweet Honey in the Rock song?

LEICK:
^[21] Oh...I love them all. They are all...(thinks) Glory, Glory Hallelujah has got to be one of my favorites.

ESPARZA:
^[22] What is the weirdest, most bizarre memory that sticks out in your mind about Xenaland?

LEICK:
^[23] When someone kissed my breast.

Dyann Esparza

Once there came into the world a fledgling li'l geekling, who wandered the world over and meandered here and there and there and here. Until lo, one day, she-now a full fledged GeekGrrl-found the fledgling Xenaverse and discovered, to her endless delight, a site call International Association for Xena Studies and their publication WHOOSH. "Magnificently Kewl," she thought and promptly volunteered (or was swayed by the editor; I can't remember how the story goes) to become a staffer. Still not sure what it is I do, I continue to meander, and that seems to be enough.
