MILES OF MAILING LISTS!

Whoosh sponsors and supports a lot of genre based mailing lists. There are two types: the discussion list and the announcement list. The discussion list allows recipients to post and discuss to their heart's content about the topic of the mailing list. The announcement lists are unilateral and are only received. They are like newsletters and such. If you respond on those, the mailing list mkoderator gets the poist, not the list.
