SYNOPSIS

Lena breaks up with Bianca (1st break-up and it's by Lena). Binks is in Erica's office buying tickets to something when Lena walks in; Lena attempts to break it off with Bianca - "It's not you, it's me"; Binks is angry; Lena tells Michael she won't be seeing Binks any more and that she refuses to use her; Michael makes threats; (On same show: Wrestling at Fusion between Greenlee and Kendall)

Not wanting to see Bianca hurt, Lena tells her they can't see each other anymore. Once again feeling rejected by a possible love interest, Bianca unleashes her anger at Lena. After her hurtful encounter with Lena, Bianca surprises Erica with her lack of sympathy over Erica's break up with Jack. Lena tells Michael she won't be seeing Bianca any longer. Michael warns Lena she had better continue her relationship with Bianca in order to get Boyd's formula or suffer the repercussions.

Lena comes into Erica's office as Bianca is concluding a phone call about some tickets. Bianca smiles at seeing her, and says she has great news - she just scored two tickets for Saturday to the concert they were talking about. When Lena says that Saturday isn't really good for her, Bianca tells her that's okay; she just got off the phone with the scalper, and will call him back to change the tickets for Sunday. Lena says she can't go with her; she came to find her to tell her they can't see each other anymore. Bianca looks stunned as she asks, "This is a joke, right?" Lena regretfully says that she's sorry, but she's very serious. Bianca protests that they talked last night, and asks if she did or said something to offend her? She said she was tired - she didn't say she was dumping her! Lena looks miserable as Bianca asks if she didn't have a good time last night, but insists Bianca did nothing wrong, and it was a perfect night. This is not because she doesn't want to see her again, but because she can't. Bianca wonders if she's not pretty enough or smart enough, or not sophisticated enough, but Lena tells her she's perfect. "Just not for you," Bianca notes, "I guess as far as you're concerned it's like I have the word 'victim' tattooed on my forehead!" She starts to leave, but Lena protests that she doesn't want her to be a victim, and that's exactly why she can't…. When she insists it's not Bianca's fault or anything she's done, Bianca says she's got it - it's her problem. Lena agrees it's about her, but Bianca calls her a coward! She tells Lena to spare her the speech; she's heard it before from practically every woman she's ever been interested in. Every time she feels a connection with someone, that someone changes her mind! Lena says she's sorry, and knows it's not fair. Bianca agrees it's not, adding that she's tired of trusting her heart to people who want something else. She swore to herself she was never going to let this happen to her again, and she meant it; she's not going to be a victim, "So spare me the tears and the regrets because I don't need them, and I don't need you." Lena sighs as Bianca storms out of the office...

Back at his condo, Michael is again on the phone, saying it's done, and Palmer Cortlandt doesn't suspect a thing, "We have him right where we want him." Lena arrives, and Michael says he trusts this is more good news, "You have the formula for me?" When Lena says no, Michael notes that he told her not to come back here until she had it in writing, "Boyd trusts Bianca; all you have to do is get that little girlfriend of yours to get into his head." Lena tells him she's not her girlfriend or her lover; they just had words, and she won't be seeing her again. Michael steps closer as he says, "The hell you won't!" Lena protests that she was supposed to go to bed with Boyd, a grown man, not an innocent girl, but Michael says she failed, and Bianca's an easier target. Lena insists she won't use her that way, but Cambias says she doesn't have a choice. If she doesn't seduce that formula out of Bianca, he'll make sure she regrets it - big time!...

Mia asks Greenlee and Kendall, "Well, what are you waiting for, girls? Kiss and make up - we have a company to run!"
Bianca tearfully challenges Lena, "Tell me that you don't have feelings for me; tell me that you don't want to be with me."

Bianca is in Erica’s office buying tickets to something over the phone. Lena arrives and Bianca cheerfully greets her. Lena is looking morose and begins the preliminaries of Bianca’s journey to Dump City...

Bianca is taken aback to being dumped. You think she’d be used to it by now. Lena hasn’t prepared herself for dumping Bianca because she has no reason for it. Bianca is understandably ticked. Lena begins the “it’s not you, it’s me” cliché that Bianca is able to recite in her sleep. She thinks Lena is a coward...

Bianca doesn’t want to hear the standard “I hope we can still be friends” speech. It’s been done to death for her...

Bianca arrives with some papers from legal for Erica to sign. Palmer takes the opportunity to leave. Erica fills in Bianca on the haps with Jack. Bianca thinks it’s about time. Erica is aghast that her daughter isn’t on her side. Bianca’s just not sympathetic at the moment to someone who is the dumper. She labels Erica a coward (just like Lena) who only cares about herself...

Fusion looks like a bomb went off. Greenlee hits Kendall over the head with a batch of roses and starts squirting her with a bottle of lotion. They start wrestling on the floor and are now all slippery. Incidentally, Alicia and Rebecca were barely keeping their faces straight. In fact, I swear some of the screaming had some laughter injected in there randomly. They screech and stop fighting when someone throws cold water on them. It’s Palmer, wondering what the f***’s going on. “She started it!” they both yell. Jesus, what is this, preschool? I do have to laugh at Kendall calling Greenlee “Cruella duPres.” Kendall is through tangling with Greenlee. She’s done, she quits. Greenlee is absolutely fine with that and declares that Kendall had better be gone when she gets back from changing her clothes...

The *sshat is on the phone asking if something is done and whether Palmer suspects anything. He’s satisfied with the answer he gets and declares that they have Palmer where they want him. Lena arrives now with the bad news that she won’t be seeing Bianca anymore...

Lena refuses to use Bianca in the manner that *sshat wants. He makes veiled threats...

Erica realizes that Bianca is taking the news about her and Jack a little too personally and calls her on it. Bianca hauls it out of there before she bursts into tears in front of her mommy...

As Erica starts to give chase, Liza blocks her at the doorway. Erica declares that she’s too busy to talk to Liza right now. Liza knows that. She says Erica’s been very busy with ruining her daughter’s life. Erica pffts and declares that her relationship with Bianca isn’t any of Liza’s business. But oh no, that’s not what Liza’s talking about. She’s talking about Kendall. Apparently, she has proof that the money to pay off the lawsuit lady came from Enchantment. Innocent for once, Erica is taken completely by surprise.

On the next All My Children
Mia wants Greenlee and Kendall to kiss and make up.
Bianca pleads with Lena to be honest with her.
Liza informs Erica that she’s no longer just dealing with her daughter.

Liza and Tad were in his office trying to trace the money trail for the Fusion lawsuit.
Tad: Thanks for the information Alfred. I remember the good old days when you were actually a character on our show.
Liza: We'll never see days like that again Tad. But at least you still have your job here at Chandler.
Adam: Don't count on that. I'm back from my hiatus and better than ever. Oh office extra, pack up Mr. Martin's things - and don't use one of the good packing boxes.

Adam also dropped in on Michael.
Adam: I hear your company is in trouble.
Michael: That's not true. We're in great shape.
Adam: Oh please. What company in good shape would have a hare-brained scheme like stealing a secret formula from a chemist by sending your girlfriend to have sex with him? Or trying to steal the formula by having your corporate spy have sex with his best friend. I've been in some of the best corporate stories on daytime and believe me, this one doesn't measure up.
Michael: You can't take over my company. My daddy won't let you. And stop trying to scare me with that salt shaker.

Erica dreamed about Jack.
Dream Jack: I've come back to you Erica. I'm willing to exist merely on the crumbs from your table.
Erica: Of course you are Jack. What man wouldn't be.::::wakes up alone:::: sob::::Oh Jack, why did you leave me? And why didn't I insist the architect put a bedroom in my penthouse?:::sob::::

Later Palmer came to visit.
Palmer: I saw the Jan Brady interview. So you're marrying Jack. Well, it's about time.
Erica: Why isn't anyone ever surprised that I'm not engaged to Chris anymore?
Palmer: I think most of us never believed you were engaged to him in the first place.
Erica: Palmer, Jack walked out on me. Just because I refused to marry him after he's waited years for me, he just walks out.
Palmer: Imagine that. You didn't give him that old "I'll always cherish your friendship" line did you? You're lucky he didn't toss you out a window.
Erica: Oh Palmer, I feel so alone.
Palmer: You can always call me when you're lonely.
Erica: That's very sweet but you know they only trot you out about once every 2 or 3 months. I get lonely more often than that.

Bianca and Lena talked at Enchantment.
Bianca: So I've picked out our china pattern and I thought we could go look at furniture over lunch.
Lena: I'm sorry Bianca. I can't see you anymore.
Bianca: Oh my God! You've gone blind! Wow, I get a love story and a blind story all at one time. This is great.
Lena: No no, I mean we can't date anymore.
Bianca: ABC pulled the plug on it again didn't they.
Lena: It's not ABC. It's not you. It's me. But we can still be friends.
Bianca: Auuuggghhhhh! Not that!

Joanie and Reggie didn't get along at the community center.
Reggie: Please, let me work somewhere else. I'll do anything. Just get me out of here.
Joanie: He doesn't like me Mr. Montgomery.
Jack: Try to cut him some slack Joanie. Reggie's been through a lot. First he gets recast after one day. Then his first storyline fizzled out before it even got started. Now he sees that he's going to be saddled in a storyline with you and it's just more than he can take.
Joanie: I guess I can relate. I used to feel that way when I had to have scenes with JR.

Bianca took some papers over for Erica to sign.
Erica: I'm so sad Bianca. You're Uncle Jack broke up with me just because I wouldn't marry him.
Bianca: Gee, what a surprise.
Erica: Why doesn't anyone have any sympathy for me?
Bianca: Look Mom, just in case anyone in the audience missed this the first seventeen times, you're afraid to love anyone. That's why you can't make a relationship work. You probably told Uncle Jack that you still wanted to be friends - or that you decided that you like boys after all - or that he was just an office fling and that you're going back to Europe.
Erica: Are we still talking about me here? Because this scene is supposed to be about me.

Greenlee and Kendall had a difference of opinion.
Greenlee: I don't understand you. You used to be a scheming manipulator. Now you're gullible and naive. You believe whatever anyone tells you. It's like you stopped being an Erica wannabee and started channelling Dixie.
Kendall: You're just jealous because I have Michael. You want him for yourself.
Greenlee: Please. I like my men slime free.
Kendall: Well at least my man is alive.
Greenlee: I'll get you for that!
Kendall: Not if I get you first!

Bianca: Oh, no, she's not, and I actually have some great news. You know that concert that I was telling you about last night? I just scored two tickets for Saturday.

Bianca: Oh, well, that's ok. I just got off the phone with the scalper. I'll just call him back and see if he has anything for Sunday.
Lena: No, Bianca -- I can't go with you.
Bianca: To the concert or --

Bianca: Well, dumping me, whatever translates. Is it because Myrtle came with us on our date last night or because I insisted on driving her home?
Lena: That was so sweet.

Lena: Bianca, I --
Bianca: What? You wish you could, but you can’t.
Lena: I know it's not fair.
Bianca: No, it's not fair, and I'm sick of it. I'm sick of trusting my heart to people who decide that they want something else.
Lena: It's not that. I don't want anything else.
Bianca: Just not me, right?
Lena: Bianca, I'm sorry. I didn't mean --
Bianca: No, you know what? Save it. I swore to myself that I wasn't ever going to ever let this happen again, and I'm not going to. You're right about something, Lena -- I'm not going to be a victim. So just spare me the tears and all the regrets because I don't need them and I don't need you.

Palmer: Well, I see you're in good hands. You take good care of her, Bianca.
Bianca: Oh, well, I'll try, Uncle Palmer.
Palmer: And, you -- you call me anytime. When you're lonely, whatever, you call.
Erica: I will. I thank you, Palmer. Thank you.
Palmer: Goodbye, my lovelies.
Erica: But I won't be feeling all alone, will I? Because I have my beautiful, wonderful little girl.
Bianca: Mom? What's wrong, Mom? I mean, why aren't you at work today?
Erica: Oh, sweetheart. It's Jack.
Bianca: You're not going to marry hmm, are you?
Erica: I can’t. And he took it all wrong. He walked out on me, for good.
Bianca: Well, it's about time.
Erica: You think uncle Jack did the right thing? He turned his back on me.
Bianca: You know what, Mom? This is not the first time that you have dumped a guy. I bet you know the speech by heart by now.
Erica: Bianca --
Bianca: What did you say --
Erica: Why are you being so cruel?
Bianca: What did you say to him, Mom? Did you say, "oh, it's not you, it's me"? Or "I wish I could, but I can't"? Or how about my all-time favorite -- "let's just be friends"?
Erica: Uncle Jack is one of my dearest friends, and you know that. And that's why I can't marry him. I can't risk losing him.
Bianca: So what? You just -- you just string him along this whole time, even though you have no intention of ever committing to him?
Erica: Bianca, that is just -- that is just not the way it is.
Bianca: Actually, it is. And I'm just thankful that uncle Jack has realized it. Because you know what? Nobody should ever accept anything less than the love they deserve.
Erica: Honey, you just really don't know.
Bianca: Oh, I know. I do. I know, Mom. I know that you pretended to love uncle Jack and Chris and my father, but you never did. You're too much of a coward to love anybody, except, of course, yourself.

***** (clip f) [Greenlee and Kendall wrestle (No Lena)]

Greenlee: Let go of me, you old swamp tramp!
Kendall: Oh, you can dish out the truth, but you can't take it, you stuck-up little snob?
[Kendall screams]
Kendall: What are you doing? What are you doing? Get over here!
Greenlee: Get off of me!
Kendall: No!
[Kendall screams]
Greenlee: You tarty little toothpick!
Kendall: You know what? You better hang on to your memories of Leo! He's the only one who would ever put up with you!
[Kendall and Greenlee scream]
Palmer: What the blazes is going on here?
Kendall and Greenlee: She started it!

Michael: More good news, I trust? You have the formula for me?
Lena: No.
Michael: I told you not to come back here unless you had it in writing. Boyd trusts Bianca. All you have to do is get that little girlfriend of yours to get into his head.
Lena: She's not my girlfriend.
Michael: Or whatever. Lover.
Lena: She's not my lover, either. We just had words. I won't be seeing her again.
Michael: The h*** you won't.

***** (clip h) [Michael tells Lena she will regret what she's doing]

Michael: You know how important that formula is to me. [amc030422h-inc starts] We've been working on it for months.
Lena: I was supposed to go to bed with Boyd, a grown man, not an innocent girl.
Michael: Well, you failed. Bianca's an easier target. She's vulnerable.
Lena: I won't use her that way.
Michael: You know, you don't seem to understand. You don't have a choice, because, you see, if you don't seduce that formula out of Bianca, I’ll make sure you regret it big-time.

***** (clip i) [Erica figures out Bianca is not talking about her (no Lena)]

Erica: You're saying that I only love myself? I have tried to do what I think is best for everyone. No one seems to appreciate it.
Bianca: Mom, you do what's best for you. Don't worry about everybody else.
Erica: Bianca, I am not trying to hurt uncle Jack. I am trying truly to spare him any more pain.
Bianca: You know what? You think it doesn't hurt to let somebody into your life, to open up your heart to them, only to have them bail out on you in the end?
Erica: Ok, wait a second, honey. Are we talking about me now or you? Did something happen? Bianca? Bianca?
[Bianca runs out of the penthouse]
Liza: Hi. I need to talk to you.
Erica: Please. I'm busy.
Liza: Yeah, I can see that -- busy ruining your daughter's life.
Erica: My daughter? Look, my relationship with Bianca is really none of your business.
Liza: Bianca? I'm talking about your other daughter, Kendall, co-founder of Fusion Cosmetics.
