Subject: Whoosh question

Hi there.

I am a doctoral student in Counselor Education at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. I am doing an on-line survey for my dissertation on the impact of media (specificaly, television) on lesbian experience and self-perception. I am specifically interested in the experiences of lesbian fans of Xena and/or Buffy. If you are interested in reading more about my study and/or participating in an on-line survey, please click the link below to view the informed consent information and register to take the survey. Also, if you identify as bisexual, unsure, confused, questioning, etc., you are also invited to participate.

LInk no longer active so removed

I appreciate your time.
Noelle

Thank you for posting the Lena AMC guide. It gives me a chance to see what happened in the earlier Lena episodes. BTW, I'm still watching the show, inspite of the wretched turn of events. I'm pretty sure that Lena, and Bianca, will eventually return from the depths.

Thanks again,
Lorraine Underwood

Subject: AMC - Lena site

Hi!

I came across your site from a link from the http://www.afterellen.com site and I just wanted to say that I really love it. It's really great to read the recaps on the Lena/Bianca storyine from Day 1.

I wanted to ask though, are recaps #20-#88 no longer available? Once I got to recap #19 and then clicked on next episode it gave me an error page. Also, how do I go about seeing the clips you have available for some episodes? I was able to only able to access the one from when Bianca and Lena first met. I missed some of the early on Lena & Bianca storyline and it's really neat to see since I am totally hooked on their storyline now.

Anyway, thanks for the great Lena site.

The reason the guide ends abruptly and resumes again in September is because the site is still being built. It takes at least an hour to do one episode. I anticipate being caught up in 2-3 months. I am also doing the contemporaneous ones as they happen (I am current for months January-March and September).

As to the clips, I am looking for webspace to host all the clips, but it is slow in coming. Meanwhile, all the clips are available on my AIM shared folder (you have to have AIM to be able to access them - you tell me your user name; I add it to my AMC buddy list; you then add me on to your buddy list (kymtaborn); then you right click my user name; click get file; and then you will have access to the AMC shared folder (4.75 gigs of Lianca and BAM and interviews and Sosnovska in other roles). If you do not get access then you have to tweak your filewall). The AIM software can be found at http://www.aim.com.
