SYNOPSIS

Adam visits Lena in prison and asks for information to take down Michael; Kendall, Aidan, and Mia try to get information from Michael

RE-CAPS:

From The Official Site at ABC.com:
http://abc.go.com/daytime/allmychildren/episodes/2003-04/20030701.html

Aidan rescues Mia from Michael by claiming to be a jealous lover and gives Mia a passionate kiss in the process. Mia shows Aidan the receipt she was able to steal from Michael, hoping it will lead them to something they can use against him. Kendall, jealous over Aidan kissing Mia, insists that Mia has helped enough when Mia wants to accompany Aidan as he checks out what the receipt could mean. Adam visits a jailed Lena, who insists she never had the Chandler stocks she was accused of stealing. Lena is surprised when Adam believes her. Adam convinces Lena to work with him to uncover Michael's crimes.

From About All My Children
http://allmychildren.about.com/cs/recaps/a/bl20030701r.htm

Lena forlornly paces in her cell, and is surprised when Adam Chandler comes in. When he tells the guard he’ll let him know when he’s finished, Lena notes that he spoke to him like the guard worked for him. Chandler agrees he does, considering the taxes he pays! He asks how they’re treating her, and isn’t surprised when she says like a prisoner. He notes that a few words to the right people could make her life a good deal more pleasant, and Lena asks what he wants? Adam wants to help Lena, if she’ll let him, but she doesn’t believe him. When she suggests that Michael sent him here, Adam laughs that Michael Cambias doesn’t send him anywhere, “Nobody sends me anywhere; people take orders from me—that’s why I’m in a position to help you. Lena suspiciously asks why he would do that? Adam tells her she has something he wants; if she’ll give it to him, he’ll give her what she wants. He knows she wants her freedom, and he’s in a position to get the insider trading charges against her dropped. When he notes that, otherwise, she’ll be looking at steel bars for a very long time, Lena insists she’s not guilty, and that’s the truth! Adam points out that the truth is one thing, but getting people to believe it is something else. Lena starts to say that Michael set her up, but breaks off and says she’s wasting her breath; she knows he employs Michael, and is here to protect him! Adam says he’s not here to protect Michael—he wants his stocks back! Lena tells him she doesn’t have his stocks; he surprises her when he says he knows that. He knows Michael set her up; he wants nothing more in the world than to prove it, and can, with her help. Lena knows his reputation; he manipulates people, and is manipulating her right now, but it won’t work, “When you have nothing left to lose, it gives you a kind of power. Now, would you please leave me alone?” Adam understands her reluctance, but he’s the only one still in her corner; no one believes Michael set her up except him. He knows Michael Cambias, and he wants to crush him as much as she does. Lena protests that she only has his word for this, but Adam urges her to take a chance, “Together we can bring him down! What do you have to lose, Lena?” Adam quizzes Lena, asking what Michael drinks in a bar? She replies that, if it’s business, he’ll have whatever the other person has, and pretend it’s his favorite. Adam wants to know what Cambias drinks when he’s just being himself. Lena doesn’t know, and reflects that perhaps Michael never dares to be his true self. She asks if they can stop; Adam reminds her she promised him information, and she tiredly sighs that she’s beginning to wish he asked for a confession! Adam agrees they’ll take a break; she’s earned it! Lena doesn’t understand some of these personal questions about Michael—what could he get from such information? Adam doesn’t know, but explains when you’re attacking an enemy, you want to find out everything about him, and then you wait until something he does, combined with something you know about him, could bring him down; the more you know, the sooner that day will come.

Lena hopes she’s there when that day comes for Michael Cambias. Adam realizes nobody could hate that man more than she does. Lena sighs it’s easier than hating herself for what she did for him. Adam understands that he took her life, but Lena says, even worse, she gave it to him. When she says she knows a man as powerful as he would never understand what it’s like to be in this position, Adam tells her he was raised in Pigeon Hollow, West Virginia, and was working in the coal mines when he was fourteen. Surprised, Lena thinks maybe he is the man who will bring down Michael Cambias. Adam agrees, with her help, and says they’ll continue this tomorrow. He’ll have his lawyers look into her case; if they can’t find a loophole, they’ll create one! He calls to the guard that he’s finished, and Lena marvels that they’re that good! Adam grins as he tells her the lawyers are terrified of him, and bids her goodnight. As he’s leaving, Lena tells him, “Single malt scotch, on the rocks.” Adam winks as he says that figures, “Never trust a man who doesn’t take his scotch neat!” He leaves, and Lena hopefully asks the guard if she got any other calls or visitors? Her face falls when he says no.

Bianca is looking at the pictures taken with Lena when Erica returns to her office. Erica asks why she didn’t answer her phone, and Bianca laughs that she took a walk after she threw her out! Erica’s sorry, saying that they had some business to finish up, and Tad loves to chat. Bianca apologizes for assuming the worst when she walked in. Erica brings up Greenlee, saying she will handle that herself, and Bianca doesn’t have to do anything. Bianca just came to give her the latest youth market survey, and Erica is very pleased with the effort she put into this. She says Bianca demands so much from herself, but her daughter insists it’s because she set the bar so high. Erica says it suits her; it makes her happy to have her work to throw herself into, especially when things aren’t going so well in her personal life. She brings up all Bianca’s been through with Lena, but Binks isn’t in the mood for an “I told you so”. Erica insists she really wishes she was wrong about Lena, and Bianca suggests that maybe she is innocent. They agree it’s getting late, and Bianca suggests her mom come home with her to Myrtle’s for a late supper. Erica’s sorry, but has some things she’s got to do; she suggests they have breakfast in the morning, and discuss some details about the wedding. Bianca agrees, but warns her that she would be happy with the cheesiest Las Vegas chapel as long as she and her Uncle Jack wind up married to each other when all is said and done! Erica promises that she will be, and nothing is going to come in the way of their family’s happiness.

Mia is having the distinct misfortune of being felt up by *sshole right now.

All Kendall and Aidan are getting on their receiver is static. Aidan finally looks down (really, that’s all he had to do) and notices the dropped hairclip. And man oh man. Aidan HAS been doing much better lately, acting-wise, but he really screwed the pooch when it came to his discovery of the hairclip. Sudden look left. Sudden look down. Emphatic gesture with right arm. Shocked look. “D***! Mia’s wire!”

Mia squirms out of *sshole’s grasp. *sshole decides she needs some wine to relax and departs to the back to pour some.

Aidan wants to race to Mia’s rescue but Kendall insists they give her a bit more time to find something. “She’s not as dumb as she looks,” insists Kendall. Everybody with me now: “She’s dumber.” Yeah, that was great, I could hear you all!

Mia manages to slip the piece of paper into her pocket as *sshole blathers on in the background about the wine. He brings the wine over and calls her on it...

Whoa, fifteen minutes into the episode and they’re introducing a new scene? That’s kind of weird. Usually, the first set of scenes for the episode are the norm for the rest of the hour.

At any rate, the new scene is a jailhouse one between Adam and Lena. Wow, this should be quite intriguing. They make small talk. She wants him to cut to the chase about what he wants. She’s skeptical when he says he wants to help her and thinks *sshole is behind Adam’s visit. Adam grimaces at the thought of taking orders from anyone, let alone *sshole. He knows *sshole set her up and wants her to help him prove it...

Bianca is extremely suspicious of what Erica is up to with Tad. She immediately jumps to the conclusion that her mother is pulling one of her trademark stunts of trying to nail the first available guy to avoid commitment. Erica assures Bianca that Tad is just there for work and pointedly glares at Tad to start explaining. “Oh yeah, it’s the truth. She hired me to do the PI thing. She wanted me to look into uh—” “There, you see?” pipes up Erica. Dude, Susan’s brilliant comic timing strikes again with that interjection. It was hilarious...

Mia pulls some band-aids out of her pockets and explains that she was just being neat-freaky. *sshole is amused and is diving in for some lip action when Aidan starts a-banging on the door. “Is that the limey?” asks *sshole. Aidan barges in and makes with the jealous boyfriend act. He even plants one on Mia for emphasis. Outside, Kendall observes all through the blinds with her eyes flashing green.

Oh man, Kendall looks seriously pissed at this recent turn of events. Mia seems a little dazed by the power of Aidan’s lips (and hey, who wouldn’t be?). I think what little blood she had rolling around in that empty cranium of hers has seriously vacated the premises for parts elsewhere. Aidan insists that Mia leave with him but she’s overplaying her part and protesting too much. So much that *sshole feels the need to plunk down his two cents, “The lady said ‘no’ and ‘no’ means ‘no.’” I can’t believe he had the nerve to say that. Mia tells *sshole that she needs to clear things up with Aidan and makes the “I’ll call you” gesture to him as she leaves...

Lena proceeds with her story of “Michael Cambias: The Man Inside the *sshole.” Basically, her description of the real him is what we all know: that he’s a smarmy, weasely little s***. It’s a good scene between two great actors but it’s filler. And Lena needs to take those d*** rubber bands off of her bangs, she looks ridiculous.

After Adam leaves, Lena asks the guard if anyone else called or stopped by to see her. The guard says no and Lena rests her head against the bars all disappointed.

Bianca looks at her photo booth pictures of herself and Lena when Erica returns. There are no hard feelings about their little misunderstanding with Tad earlier. Blah, small talk, nothing happens (besides a few dropped anvils about everyone’s future happiness), Bianca leaves...

Mia, Aidan and Kendall have their final mission meeting at the Valley Inn bar. Might you want to be a little less conspicuous and meet somewhere the target doesn’t regularly frequent? I mean, all *sshole would have to do is come in as always. He’d see them and the jig would be up. Anyway, Kendall’s jealousy rears its ugly but amusing head. Kendall, I love you and all but dude, a little gratitude? Mia just did you a huge favor and you didn’t even have to ask.

Mia hands over what she found at *sshole’s. She wants to help Aidan out with the follow-up but Kendall snaps her head off yet again over the prospect of her spending even another nanosecond alone with Aidan...

Mary is lounging in Lena’s old room at the Valley Inn (same room numbers but the furniture arrangement is different) when Erica knocks at the door...

PARODY

This parody is by LizzieT.

Mary ran into Carlos at Fusion.
Mary: Oh Carlos, it's so hot. Let me just plunge this ice pick into your heart.
Producer: MARY!
Mary: Oh all right. Carlos, you're so hot. Take me, I'm yours. :::shudder::::
Carlos: I can't believe you would try to seduce me.
Mary: Me either. I know I want to be on contract but this is getting ridiculous.
Carlos: How could you do something that could hurt your daughter like this?
Mary: Me hurt me daughter! You're the one who's hurting my daughter. She used to be practically the star of the show until you dragged her down with your pathetic attempts at acting. People never used to FF her scenes until you came along. Don't talk to me about hurting my daughter.

Later Simone came by the office.
Carlos: Que? Que? Si! Si! Huevos rancheros! Huevos rancheros!
Simone: Why are you so angry?
Carlos: They're hoping that if I show some emotion people will stop calling me a lousy actor.
Simone: I heard you ordering a really expensive bottle of wine. I'm seeing a whole new side of you. Who are you?
Carlos: I'm Carlos. Unless I've been recast. You haven't heard anything have you?
Simone: Not officially. They keep getting everyone's hopes up with rumors but it never pans out.

Over at Michael's condo Mia found herself in a tight spot.
Michael: Let's get physical Mia.
Mia: Oh Michael, I'd love to. I just HOPE WE'RE NOT INTERRUPTED.
Michael: Why are you shouting into your hair?
Mia: It's just something I do when I'm feeling frisky. I''D HATE FOR SOMEONE TO COME IN AND STOP US FROM GETTING ROMANTIC.
Michael: You are a strange little thing aren't you? That's good. I usually repulse normal people.

Meanwhile Aidan and Kendall were unable to hear Mia's predicament.
Kendall: Why isn't this working. I thought you were a great spy.
Aidan: Whoi wewd yew think that? Oi've been a bloody filure at every spoi mission Oi've ad so far.
Kendall: Hey, I here something now. It sounds like us.
Aidan: Blimey! She's lost er air moik. Oi'll run in and sive er. Ello Mia. Whot are yew dewing with this bloke? E's no gewd. Yew belong with me.
Mia: I don't know. Do I really want another storyline with one of Maria's leftovers?
Michael: It's better than having one with me.
Aidan: Oi wont yew Mia. Let's mike out roit ere. ::::kiss kiss kiss::::
Mia: Blimey!
Kendall: @#&*

Tad had the information that Erica wanted.
Erica: Let me have the file.
Tad: Let's talk first. I want to know why you needed this stuff.
Erica: I don't have time to talk.
Tad: I do. If I'm not in scenes with you I'll probably have to be in scenes with Liza.
Erica: I heard about that. The angry villagers woke me up the other night with their chanting.
Tad: So why are you so determined to blackmail Mary Smythe? Does it have anything to do with the fact that she's been carving Jack + Mary into all the barstools at the Valley Inn?
Erica: Give me what I want! I want it bad and you've got what I need! Now Tad now!
Bianca: Hey, are they rerunning the fantasy episode today? What's going on here?
Tad: Nothing. I'm just torturing your mother.
Bianca: If I had walked in on this when I was 5 I would probably have set Enchantment on fire.
Erica: Tad and I were just talking business.
Bianca: I have some business too. I need to return a phone call from Greenlee.
Erica: Ackkkk! Not Greenlee! Never speak her name again! Tell her to get out of our Enchantment counter or I'll throw her out! And tell her she's not sitting by me at Thanksgiving dinner either!
Bianca: Huh?
Erica: Never mind.
Tad: I think I've got this figured out. Jack is Greenlee's father isn't he?
Erica: What makes you think that?
Tad: Simple. The old blood transfusion storyline. You're trying to blackmail Mary. I've been on a soap for a long time. I recognize all the signs. You have to do the sensible thing and tell him Erica.
Erica: Tad, when have I ever done the sensible thing? Now give me the file so I can go hiss at Mary.

Later Erica visited Mary's hotel room.
Mary: Erica, what are you doing here?
Erica: I want you to see this file. :::hiss:::: If you breathe a word about Jack being Greenlee's father I'll show this file to the world.
Mary: :::gasp:::: You wouldn't!
Erica: Oh wouldn't I! Keep your secret or the whole world will know that you .....
Lizzie: Oh come on, tell us already!
Erica: Now what would be the fun in that?

Adam: Ms. Kundera. Oh, thank you. I’ll let you know when I’m finished.
Lena: You talk to him like he works for you.
Adam: Considering the taxes I pay, he does. How are they treating you?
Lena: Like a prisoner.
Adam: No doubt. A few words to the right people could make your life a good deal more pleasant -- better food, maybe some privacy.
Lena: Mr. Chandler --
Adam: Yes.
Lena: What do you want?
Adam: I want to help you, if you'll let me.
Lena: I don't believe you.
Adam: Is there any reason you shouldn't?

Adam: No, no, no, no, Michael Cambias doesn't send me anywhere. Nobody sends me anywhere. People take orders from me. That's why I’m in a position to help you.
Lena: Why would you do that?
Adam: Because you have something I want. If you'll give it to me, I’ll give you what you want.
Lena: Thank you very much, but right now I doubt even you could manage that.
Adam: I’m talking about your freedom, Ms. Kundera. I’m in a position to get the insider-trading charges against you dropped. Otherwise, you may be looking at steel bars for quite a while.
Lena: I’m not guilty, and that's the truth.
Adam: Well, the truth is one thing, but getting people to believe it, that's something else.
Lena: Well, they'll just have to. I was set up by Mi--
Adam: What? What?
Lena: I’m wasting my breath. You employ Michael Cambias. You obviously trust him, so you're here to help him, not me.
Adam: And how would I help him?
Lena: By tricking me into incriminating myself, by making me break down and tell you what you want to hear so I go to prison for this scam that Michael obviously set up.
Adam: You don't strike me as someone who's easily broken.
Lena: No, I’m not. I won't confess to something I didn't do, but I’ll offer you something much more valuable.
Adam: Such as?
Lena: Advice. Don't protect Michael. He'll turn on you just like he turned on everybody else.
Adam: Yeah. I’m not here to protect Michael, and I’m certainly not interested in your confession.
Lena: What do you want?
Adam: I want my stocks back.
Lena: Mr. Chandler, I don't have your stocks. I never did.
Adam: Yeah, I know. I know that.
Lena: You do?
Adam: Oh, yes. I know Michael Cambias set you up. Matter of fact, I want nothing more in the world than to prove it. And I can, with your help. You still doubt me.
Lena: I don't know you, Mr. Chandler, but I know your reputation.
Adam: Really? What have you heard about me?
Lena: That you manipulate people. And you're manipulating me right now.
Adam: Not successfully, I’m afraid.
Lena: No. You're right. It won't work. It's funny, but when you have nothing left to lose, it gives you a kind of power. Now, would you please leave me alone?

[amc0307013 starts]
Erica: Come on, Tad! Give it to me!
Bianca: Mother!
Erica: Bianca. I didn't hear you.
Bianca: Yeah, I figured. What are you guys doing?
Tad: Working.
Erica: Nothing.
Bianca: Well, that didn't look like work.
Tad: Well, the great ones make it look so easy.
Erica: Bianca, I don't know what it looked like, but believe me --
Bianca: Mom, you're doing it again, aren't you?
Erica: What?
Bianca: You're playing one man against the other so that you don't have to commit to either one of them?
Erica: Oh, Bianca, no.
Bianca: Yours and Uncle Jack's on-again, off-again engagement is on again, so now you're using Tad to avoid Uncle Jack.
Erica: Bianca, this -- you are completely misreading the situation. Believe me. No, I hired Tad to do some investigative work for Enchantment.
Bianca: Really?
Erica: Yes, really. Look, Tad will tell you himself what he's doing here. Tell her.
Tad: Oh, yeah. No, no. It's the truth. She hired me to do the P.I. thing. She wanted me to look into --
Erica: Yeah, you see?
Bianca: All right, well -- what's with the gymnastics?
Erica: That? Oh, that was Tad being Tad.
Tad: Yeah. Apparently, I can't help it.
Erica: Bianca, we will talk later.
Bianca: All right. I just wanted to give you this.
Erica: Yeah, but just -- it'll have to wait. I’m sorry.
Bianca: Ok, well, I got a phone call from Greenlee Smythe about the counter change at Lacey’s --
Erica: Oh, Greenlee -- that monster. Oh, I’m sure she called. She wants to rub it in. Well, do not call her back.
Bianca: Oh, all right.
Erica: And, in fact, if she calls back, you tell her I never want to have anything to do with her again. In fact, I never want to hear her name ever again.
Bianca: Fine. I may not use those words. Bye.

Michael: You know, why don't you tell me exactly what it is that is in your pocket.
Mia: Nothing important.
Michael: Really? Well, I’ll be the judge of that. It's a funny thing. I like to know what's going on underneath my roof.
Mia: Sure. Yeah. It's just a couple of these. [She takes some bandaids out of her pocket] You know, I just -- I didn't want to leave them lying around your house.
[Mia laughs]
Michael: That's cute.
Mia: Yeah.
Michael: That's very cute. The neat freak meets the control freak. You know, I think this is going to be the start of a beautiful friendship.
[Pounding on door]
Michael: What the h*** is that?
Aidan: Mia, are you in there?
Mia: Oh, my God.
Michael: Is that the Limey?
Aidan: Sorry, but the name is Aidan.
Michael: Yeah, well, I think if you don't get out of my house right now, you're going to be the defendant.
Aidan: Sure. I’ll go, but not alone. Mia, what are you doing here? I pull Kendall away from the bar to stop her from hassling you, and this is how you thank me? By leaving with this creep?
Michael: Well, I think that's her business, pal.
Aidan: Excuse me. I’m talking to the lady.
Michael: Yeah, and just who is the lady to you, Tinkerbell?
Aidan: There. That proves it.
Mia: What proved what?
Aidan: I kissed you, and you kissed me back. Now, you didn't seem to mind, and where I come from, it looks like you belong with me.
Michael: I didn't realize they had cavemen in England.
Aidan: Why don't you just shut up. Mia, I really thought we had something. After those nights we spent together, I thought we had something solid.
Mia: I --
Aidan: When Kendall said that you had your eye on this creep, I thought she was crazy.
Mia: He --
Aidan: How could you just leave there? How could you leave with this creep? I’m not leaving here until you give me an explanation.
Mia: You think that the couple of nights that we spent together give you exclusive rights to me?
Aidan: I’m not saying another word in front of this guy. Now, we're leaving now.
Mia: I am not.
Michael: The lady said no, and no means no. Besides, aren't you with that Maureen woman?
Mia: Oh, no, no. She's history. I’m the rebound, but not anymore. If you don't mind, I would rather be something more than a consolation prize to someone.
Aidan: Excuse me, I do mind. Look, I’m taking you home right now. Do you understand?
Michael: Get your hands off, or I’ll break every finger.
Mia: Hey, guys, stop.
Aidan: Oh, really? You want to try something?
Mia: No, cut it out! No, it's fine. Listen, listen, Aidan -- Aidan’s right. I really do owe him sort of an explanation, Michael. Just let me deal with this. I think I should.
Aidan: Seems like a yes to me.
Mia: Yeah.

***** (clip g) [Adam and Lena make an alliance]

[amc030701g starts]
Adam: What does he drink?
Lena: What?
Aidan: When he's at a bar, what does he order?
Lena: If it's business, whatever the other person's having, and then he pretends it's his favorite, too.
Adam: Yeah, a cheap trick.
Lena: It works.
Adam: But every man has a private self. What does he order when he's not trying to impress someone else, when he's just being himself?
Lena: I don't know. I wonder if Michael's ever really himself. I don't know if he dares to be. Look, do you mind if we stop?
Adam: You promised me information.
Lena: Oh, yes, I’m beginning to wish you asked for confession.
Adam: All right, all right, you take a break. You earned it.
Lena: I -- I still don't understand.
Adam: What?
Lena: Well, some of these questions -- I mean, ok, Michael and his father, his involvement with the Cambias Industries, that makes sense, but what time he wakes up? His favorite drink? What could you get from such information?
Adam: I don't know. Maybe nothing.
Lena: Then why ask?
Adam: When you're attacking an enemy, you want to find out everything about him. Everything. I mean, everything. And then you wait.
Lena: For what?
Adam: Till something that he does combined with something that you know about him can bring him down. The more you know, the sooner that day will come.
Lena: I hope I’m there when that when that day comes for Michael Cambias.
Adam: I was wrong, wasn't I?
Lena: About what?
Adam: Nobody could hate that man as much as you do.
Lena: Well, it's easier than hating myself for what I did for him.
Adam: You didn't just work for him, did you? He -- he took your life, didn't he?
Lena: Worse. I gave it to him. A man as powerful as you wouldn't understand what it's like to be in that position.
Adam: Actually, I was raised in Pigeon Hollow, West Virginia. I was working in a coal mine when I was 14.
Lena: I see. Maybe you are the man who will bring down Michael Cambias.
Adam: With your help. All right, that's enough for today. We'll continue this tomorrow. Guard, I’m finished here. I’ll have my lawyers look into your story, into your case. If they can't find a loophole, they'll create one.
Lena: They're that good?
Adam: Well, they're good, yeah, but they're terrified of me. Good night.
Lena: Single malt scotch on the rocks.
Adam: Excuse me?
Lena: That's what Michael drinks when he's with me, and for him, that's the same as being alone.
Adam: That figures. Never trust a man who doesn't take his scotch neat.
Lena: Officer?
Guard: Yes.
Lena: Did I get any calls?
Guard: No.
Lena: Did anyone stop by asking to see me?
Guard: Sorry. No calls, no visitors.

***** (clip h) [Erica and Bianca discuss Lena some more (Lena mention)]

[amc030701h starts]
Erica: Oh. Bianca. Honey, why didn't you answer your phone?
Bianca: Oh, I’m sorry. I went for a walk -- after you kicked me out.
Erica: Oh. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, honey. Look, I just -- I had this business to finish up with Tad, and the way he loves to chat, I just thought, well, this could go on all night. So I apologize.
Bianca: No. It's ok. I apologize for walking in and finding you two together and assuming the worst.
Erica: Oh, and then I went off on Greenlee. I mean, I just -- I will handle that myself. You don't have to do anything, sweetheart.
Bianca: Oh, well, I -- the only thing I came here to do was give you this. It's the latest youth market survey.
Erica: Well, my goodness, you certainly put a lot of effort into this. Thank you so very much.
Bianca: Well, I had help. I had lots of help from, you know, our folks in the field, but it did turn out to be a pretty big project.
Erica: Because you demand so much of yourself.
Bianca: Well, only because you set the bar so high.
Erica: I know. But you know something? It really -- it suits me. You know, it makes me really happy that I have my work to throw myself into, especially when things aren't going so well in my personal life. And after everything you've been through in your personal life with Lena, I am so happy you had this little diversion.
Bianca: Oh, if this is leading up to an I-told-you-so, then I’m not in the mood.
Erica: No, no, no, honey, never. Please believe me, I -- no one wishes more than I that Lena hadn't hurt you that way. I really wish that I was wrong about Lena.
Bianca: Well, maybe you are.
Erica: Bianca?
Bianca: Well, she hasn't gone to trial yet. She claims she's innocent. Maybe she is.
Erica: Bianca, after all she put you through, how can you even --
Bianca: All right, and you know what? I don't want to talk about Lena right now.
Erica: Yeah, it's getting late. You should just call it a night and go on home to Myrtle's.
Bianca: Well, why don't you come with me? Maybe Myrtle's around. Maybe we can all grab a late supper together?
Erica: Oh, honey, I’d love that. I’m sorry. I have to stay here. I just -- I have some things to do before I can even begin to wind down.
Bianca: All right, well, what kind of things? Maybe I can help you.
Erica: No, really, I -- no. Just -- you go on. I have an idea, though. Why don't we have breakfast together in the morning, ok? We could discuss some of the details for my wedding.
Bianca: Oh, yeah, that sounds great.
Erica: Ok.
Bianca: I got to warn you, though, I’d be happy with the cheesiest Las Vegas chapel just as long as you're married to Uncle Jack when all is said and done.
Erica: Oh, honey, I will be. I promise. And I promise you that nothing is going to come between our family's happiness. We've waited for this. Ok, then. Good night, sweetheart. Love you.
Bianca: Ok. Good night.
Erica: Good night.
Bianca: I love you, too.

***** (clip i) [Mia gives the Scooby Gang the receipt from Michael's condo (no Lena)]

Mia: I am so grateful you guys rescued me from Michael's condo. Thank you so much.
Aidan: You didn't make it very easy. I play the jilted lover and tell you to come with me, and what do you say? "No."
Mia: I had to, or Michael would have gotten suspicious if I agreed too quickly.
Aidan: Another second, and I would have had to fight the guy.
Mia: I love that. You made the jealousy part very real.
Kendall: Yeah, a little too real if you ask me.
Mia: And the wire -- I can't believe it fell out of my hair. Michael was coming on so strong.
Kendall: Hmm. He wasn't the only one.
Mia: What does that mean?
Kendall: Oh, come on. You know what I’m talking about, Mia. The kiss.
Mia: How do you know about the kiss?
Kendall: I saw you guys through the window, ok? If you guys had been kissing for another second, one of you would have needed oxygen.
Aidan: Whoa.
Mia: Kendall, Aidan had to do that.
Kendall: Yeah, I’m not talking about Aidan. I’m talking about you.
Mia: Oh, me?
Kendall: Yeah, you. Oh, come on, you weren't exactly fighting him off, were you?
Mia: I couldn't. What were you watching for anyway?
Aidan: Look, all right, all right, ok, that's enough. Ok, let's just not go off the subject. Mia, [amc030701i-inc2 starts] did you find anything of interest at Michael's?
Mia: Oh, yeah, maybe. I got this.
Aidan: Right. I’m going to have to check this out.
[amc030701i-inc2 end]
Mia: Oh, yeah? I’d like to be there when you do.
Kendall: Yeah, I bet you would.
Mia: Pardon me?
Kendall: I think you've helped Aidan enough, Mia, a little too much.

E-mail me with your AIM user name (ktaborn@lightspeed.net) and I will give you access to the shared folder. When you have access, you can right click my user name on your buddy list and then click on get file. That should get you into the shared folder. If you have problems, then tweak your firewall. The downloads are slow because it has to go through the AIM filter AND often there are a lot of people downloading along with you. I apologize for the slow speed but this is the only way that I can distribute the clips at this time.
