SYNOPSIS:
Synopsis by Liz Sheppard.
A young beautiful woman named Psyche in a blue cloak is running through a
village from a man who wants her. She reaches her father, Holidus, and is
safe. He tells her not to leave the house during the day, but she had to
leave. They run into another man who wants to buy her, but Cupid gets rid
of him be shooting him with an arrow (he falls in love with his friend).
Cupid was supposed to shoot Psyche, but he didn't want to. Aphrodite shows
up, wanting him to do what she wants, but he flys away.
Typical bad people fighting that Hercules has to break up. Aph shows up
telling him to talk to Cupid. Cupid and Herc talk about Psyche wile Cupid's
weird friends are fighting in the background. Aph notices that her son is
in love with Psyche and plans to fix it.
Salmoneus is selling flowers to men who want to marry Psyche. Sal says
Psyche makes Aph look like a "bow wow", which Aph overhears. She appears to
him and he starts sucking up when he figures out who she is. She flirts
with him and gives him a special task.
Herc visits Holidus and Psyche, and he notices she's grown to a beautiful
woman. They invite him to lunch while he's passing through town. At lunch,
Psyche tells Herc to take her away with him. When they try to leave, a
fight amongst the horny guys breaks out. Aph and Cupid are fighting over
his bow, and he shoots Herc in the booty. He falls in love with Psyche.
Cupid gets ticked and flys away, leaving his bow behind. While hunting for
Aphrodite, Sal finds Cupid's bow and decides to sell it.
Aph tries to have a talk with Cupid, but she starts compairing mortals to
plums and annoys Cupid. She also tries to warn him about jealously, but he
doesn't listen. While Herc and Psyche are being mushy, Cupid overhears and
gets quite jealous. Really really jealous. He turns into a green-eyed
monster and flys away with Psyche. Herc takes a scroll he gave to her and
goes to save her.
Cupid has taken Psyche to a run down cathedral of Hephestus. He tries to be
nice to her, but she's too scared to listen. Aph tells Herc that Hera put a
curse on Cupid that whenever he gets jealous, he would turn into a monster
and if he becomes one two more times and he will stay like it forever. Sal
also everhears them talking about Aph's plan to make Psyche fall in love
with Sal so Cupid would get over her.
Psyche still wants Cupid to let her go, but he doesn't want to lose her.
Aph has a talk with him and tells him about the curse. He wants her to
leave him and Psyche alone.
Herc proves to Sal that Cupid's arrows are dangerous by jumping off a cliff
into a lake. He sees a vision of his old wife in the reflection and is
cured of the spell. He reads the poem he wrote to Psyche "Psyche, Psyche
you are so sweet. Without you life is incomplete. before I met you, I was
lonely. And now you are my one and only." I was moved. It touched my
heart... Anyway.
Cupid gives Psyche some food and she starts to warm up to him. Herc shows
up to beat up Cupid's ugly friends; while Aph gives Psyche something to
drink. Cupid shows up and turns into the monster again and fights Herc.
Herc wins. After the fight, Psyche becomes really old, but Cupid still
loves her. Aph gives Psyche some Ambrosia and the love birds go to Olympus.
Sal shows up followed by a goat that is in love with him.
