Synopsis by Liz Sheppard.

Iolaus has a weird dream about a star, an ugly tree, a rock, and a round pointy shape thing, so he now has red palms and has an obsession about going North. I hate it when that happens. He also feels peaceful and hippy-like, which makes Hercules worry. Herc is also not too thrilled about the going "North" thing.

A thief named Trinculos steals a bag of dinars from thugs and says that he must leave.

A village is being attacked and all the baby boys under one are being taken. Lots of babies in this small village.

Herc and Iolaus come across the rock that was in the dream and Iolaus is thrilled.

A farmer named Uris leaves to take his wife, Loralie, and their baby to saftey. He claims it's all because of a dream he had.

Herc tries to get Iolaus to eat, but Iolaus isn't hungry. Trinculos comes by and tries to steal some food, but Herc invites him to eat with him. Trinculos decides to travel North with them, when Herc notices he has red palms.

Guards come by who are about to beat up Uris, but Herc and Iolaus save him with Trinculos protecting Loralie and the baby. Uris tells them that King Polonius has ordered all baby boys to be taken in for a cencus, but nobody believes that. When Uris said he was going North, Herc inspects his palms, and saw thst they were red. They talk about the dream, which Trinculos denyies. Iolaus goes with Trinculos somewhere and Herc takes Uris and family to safety.

Queen Maliphone gives the head guard a speech about taking babies correctly. She doesn't like Hercules very much. She says that Hera will help them with Herc by sending six red bad guys, who fry the captian's best man.

The men regroup and take a shortcut through the mountain because the baby stealing guards are on horseback. When they go outside, they see a pointing tree, the same tree from the dream. Trinculos complains alot and picks on Uris for being a farmer. The villages they come to haven't been cleansed of their babies yet, so Herc and company take the babies and mothers to safety. While complaining some more, Trinculos draws in the sand. Uris and Iolaus help out with the drawing. it's the round pointy thing with eyes. He admits he had the dream, then runs away.

Polonius is worried because they can't figure out which baby will be the new king. Maliphone(who is pregnant) says to kill them all. They find Loralie and question her on why Hercules was helping her. They take her away.

Herc, Iolaus, and Uris come to a deserted village, where a guard shoots arrows at them. Trinculos saves the day. The four manly men run into the red guys and the king and queen. Big long fight scene that's in every Herc ep. Herc finds a way to destroy the red guys; Trinculos saves Uris' life by killing Polonius, so Uris saves Trinculos' life.

All mothers and babies are reunited and Maliphone is locked up. She claims that the king's heir is in her womb, but since Polonius is dead, the people get to elect their next king. The four men look out the window and see a bright star guiding them somewhere. They find a small house with a baby inside. Three men go to the house and Hercules stands by and watches.
