SYNOPSIS:

Synopsis by Liz Sheppard.

A priest retrieves a substance given to him by Hera that will kill Hercules. He puts it in a green jar. Meanwhile, Palleaus takes Rena to the construction site of there new home when they get married; but she doesn't want to because she is in love with Hercules. She is greeted in her room by a man pretending to be Hercules. She kisses him.

The real Hercules and Iolaus are walking around when they see a woman in need. She says that Hercules will get married in some sandles she sold him.

"Hercules" is bragging on how he captured Cerberus in a tavern, which Palleaus sees. He prays to Hera for help; and the priest gives him the green jar. Herc visits Alcmene telling her that he'll find out who the imposter is.

Josephus tries to start a revolt against Gorgus, the king, but fails. Herc and Iolaus show up and a fight scene starts with some guards. Josephus tells them that Hercules is coming. Herc says that he is his brother, Iphicles. Herc finds out that Iphicles is getting married to Gorgus' step-daughter. Herc is worried that his name will be ruined if Iphicles teams up with Gorgus. Iph wants him to leave, but Herc won't let him take his name. They walk away enemies.

Iolaus is captured and tells Josephus to run and find Herc, the real one. Iolaus gets the stuffing beaten out of him and then he's taken to Gorgus, who sends him to the catacombs. He's locked up without food, which really annoys him.

Palleaus tests Iphicles with the green jar and finds out that he's not the real Hercules. Josephus shows Herc a secret entrance to the catacombs. While in the catacombs, Herc goes past several deadly nasty traps, then reached Iphicles waiting for him with a sword. He challenges Herc to fight and calls him by his real name. Rena hears him and the brothers reveal the truth about their names; she then runs away. Herc has a talk with her, but she still can't trust him. Herc finds Iolaus and frees him while fighting guards. Iphicles shows up to help. Gorgus, Palleaus and the jar show up too. The jar produces a weird large lizard type creature that Herc fights while locked in the cell. Iph fights Gorgus while Rena watches; he also fights Palleaus for her and she starts likeing him again. Josephus shows up with revolting fighters, but there is no more fight. Rena tells them to punish Gorgus.

Alcmene gets visited by Herc, Iph, Rena, and Iolaus. Happy ending.
