[20] Ted Raimi came out onto the stage like he always does, full of energy and falling all over. The crowd went wild for him. They applauded furiously for some time. Even Ted was taken aback by the excitement and enthusiasm he received from the fans. In fact, he even said that the NY Convention was probably the best one he's been to, regarding acceptance of him on stage.

[21] The Q&A session was pretty much the usual. Many fans came up to say how much they loved him and the character. Many spoke up and tried to defend the bad rap that Joxer has gotten over the seasons. One fan was even bold enough to ask: "How difficult would it be for someone to get on the show without being the brother of the producer?"

[22] That question roused both Ted and the audience. After the murmuring and "ohhh's" and "ahhh's" calmed down, Ted finally answered. He stated that this has been asked several times before but he always tried to dodge the question. It was here in New York City that he finally set the record straight.

[23] Yes, he was signed for one episode because he is Sam's brother. But "Ten thousand fans wrote in saying they liked it." The crowd cheered and now the truth is told. Yes, he got the job because he was the brother of the producer. No, he is not kept on the show because of that reason any longer. Fans have been pouring out support, making fan clubs and tons of web pages. Yes, Joxer has made a come back and it looks like he will be in a few more future eps.

[24] The rest of the Q&A was filled with the usual questions and devotions to both Ted and Joxer. Right after his stage session, the autographs were about to start. Suddenly, Ted stood up on his table and announced that the writer of the official HERC and XENA books was there and pointed him out. After that, nothing exciting happened while fans waited in line to get autographs.
